As a part of fulfilling the social obligations, Ernakulam District Co-Operative Bank has set up the EMS Co-operative Library at Bank Head Office Building at Kakkanad. Sri. A.P. Varkey inaugurated the Library on 22nd October 1999. Initially we started with 100 members and 5000 books. But its growth was unimaginable, after three years the library graph becomes to 2100 members and 20,000 books. These immense responses from the public urged us to expand its activities.
